Canoe: Now didn't that cheer you up?

Daisy: Yes, considerably.

Squir: I found it all moderately amusing.

Canoe: Moderately amusing? Perhaps my subjects weren't controversial
enough for your taste. We could always talk about that contract
you drew up with Gushing Fountain. I find that considerably amusing.

Daisy: She knows?

Squir: Heaven knows how but she does. Fortunately, she fears the power of
my wrath and hasn't spread the scandal throughout the tribe.

Canoe: Not exactly. I don't fear the power of your wrath. I'm merely uncertain
of it. I'm not entirely convinced you have the special relationship
with our gods you claim. My resources haven't been able to uncover
the truth quite yet but until they do, I will respect and fear you as
you say I should. But only until then. The truth will come out.
       I'll see to that.

Chief: (enters) Flying Squirrel, I've been looking for you. My Messenger,
Running Rooster has been spotted and I'd like you to be present
during the retelling of his journey.
